When trying to connect the camera in Cupix Connect, it fails and displays a prompt to check the camera's USB Mode. See below
There are several potential causes for the camera connection to fail.
- The camera is not in U-Disk Mode
- The USB cable or memory card is faulty
- The latter would generally result in an error on the camera, however this is not a certainty
- Camera charge is low
- A Security or file management solution on the computer is blocking the camera connection
Solution 1:
Follow the steps in the prompt to enable U-Disk or Desktop Mode on the 360 camera
Solution 2:
Try another USB-C cable or Memory Card
- Ensure the cable is data capable, such as a cable that comes with a current smart phone
- USB-C to USB-C is best if possible
Solution 3:
Charge the camera to at least 25% before retrying the connection
Solution 4:
Check with your IT team for any potential security software, or file management solutions that could be interfering.
For Example: BitLocker, Norton Security, MicroTrend, etc
